Romain Roche

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the Université de Montréal in 2022, Romain took advantage of his 2022-2023 year to attend the Landless Movement (MST) branch in Recife, Brazil. This experience confirmed his interest in Latin American social movements, an interest born of an anthropology internship in a Nahuatl community in Mexico. Upon his return to Montreal, Romain decided to enroll in a Master's program in political science at the Université de Montréal, with a view to contributing to research on social movements, participatory democracy and South-South cooperation in Central and South America.
