Daniela is a Ph.D student in human geography at the University of Montreal and holds a master's degree in urban studies from the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile. Her current research aims to open a reflection on heterotopic spaces, understood as spaces and social practices of resistance for social and political transformation, in relation to the historical process that opens the constituent convention in Chile. By focusing on the spaces of the territorial and political periphery, Daniela seeks to understand the role of spaces and people according to their possible arrangements in hegemonic processes, for a resinification of politics, participation and citizenship, within the framework of a new political project. Her more general interests are the processes of social transformation, the relationship between formal and informal politics, social movements and their different levels of autonomy and institutionalization, the relational production of space, heterotopias, feminisms and the 'Latin America.
