Alicia is a second year student at the University of Montreal in International Studies and specializes in law and governance. She is interested in the situation of indigenous peoples in the Andean countries, particularly in terms of respect for human rights and inclusion in the democratic process. She is particularly interested in issues related to the implementation of multicultural constitutions in Latin America. She is also interested in learning more about the economic development of the region and the opportunities for participation in the global economy.
