Romain Busnel is a PhD candidate under joint supervision at the Université de Montréal and the Université de Lille. Apart of the Centre for Research on Social Policy and Development (CPDS, l’Université de Montréal) and the Centre for Administrative, Political and Social Studies Research (CERPAPS, Université de Lille), his research focuses on the links between collective action and state formation in coca-producing regions in a comparative context, with particular attention paid to Peru and Bolivia.
